Now where’s that tripod…

So it must be nearly 11 months since I took any form of proper landscape or seascape photo so thought it best to head back out to see if I’ve still got the nack!

Looking at the weather forecast I knew there was a potential for some dull flat light but we got lucky and the forecast was correct. The dull mist broke and some lovely pastel colours developed in the sky over St Mary’s Lighthouse.

Kit: Canon 5d3 + Canon 17-40 F4.0 + a selection of filters!

Sorry got a bit carried away with the photos…

Bowing Out

And there we have it… the last motorsport event of 2016 for me which also happened to mark my three year anniversary shooting from “over the fence” .

As it happens i’ve decided to take my foot off the gas when it comes to my motorsport photography. Other priorities in life have to take over and I want to explore shooting other sports, shall we say I want to diversify my portfolio. More info on this to come but that can wait… I’m shattered.

So anywho… check some of these shots out!

Wor Holly

So last weekend we headed North to lovely Walkworth for a walk along the beach with a spot of afternoon tea… would have been rude to not take the camera!

All photos taken on my Canon 7d Mk1 + Canon 70-200 F2.8 ISii set to Shutter priority mode at 1/640s.
